“The awards are an extraordinary recognition for two outstanding projects that demonstrate what our team is capable of. That makes me very proud.”

— Frederik Nimmesgern, CCO of insglück, who presented the projects to the international jury in Cannes and picked up the trophies

insglück was responsible for the architectural design, the content concept and the exhibition and media design of the Kazakhstan Pavilion’s „Main Show – Unlimited Spaces”. As the spectacular endpoint of a breath-taking journey, the Main Show presented a vision of life in the future. The unique live performance, combined with a captivating high-tech multimedia experience with 270-degree simulation, took the audience into an imaginary world where man and machine live together in harmony – the choreographed interaction between media, acrobats and a robot turned out to be a technological masterpiece. With over 1.6 million visitors and several awards, the Kazakhstan Pavilion belonged to the most exceptional presentations at this World Expo.

“Our interdisciplinary team has brought together many creative ideas to achieve a great overall performance. For this, I would like to express my deepest gratitude and respect to the team and all the involved partners.”

— Detlef Wintzen, Managing Director and responsible for the creative conception

For the German Garden “BIOTOPIA – Growing Community”, insglück was responsible for the design and implementation. The agency created a humorous, multi-layered, and light-hearted city utopia featuring co-creativity, diversity, and dialogue. The role of a community became the central narrative – positive, activating and participating BIOTOPIA invited the guests to join in. BIOTOPIA not only treated sustainable solutions, but BIOTOPIA itself was also sustainable: all components were reused or recycled afterwards.
