Three awards for BIOTOPIA at the Golden Award of Montreux
The insglück team couldn’t be happier about receiving three awards at the Golden Award of Montreux, being honoured for the German Garden “BIOTOPIA – Growing Community”. The EXPO project received the gold trophy in “Spatial Communication: Set Design Architecture”. On top, BIOTOPIA was honoured with two Finalist Certificates for “Spatial Communication: Temporary Thematic Exhibition” and “Events: Consumer / Public Events”.
Under the motto “Growing Green Cities”, Floriade Expo 2022 was searching for answers for a greener urban future. With “BIOTOPIA – Growing Community”, insglück introduced a city utopia featuring co-creativity, diversity, and dialogue.
With 685,000 visitors overall, BIOTOPIA was one of the highlights of Floriade in Almere, the Netherlands. The German Garden excelled in particular for its iconic architecture and the great content. The pavilion convinced with a sustainable and open structure made of wood and glass – a cubist design arousing curiosity and stimulating the spirit of discovery. The interior exhibition featured the role of a community as a central narrative – positive, activating and participating BIOTOPIA invited the guests to join in.
