Kuwait Pavilion EXPO 2025 in Osaka Opens
On April 13, 2025, the Kuwait Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka opened its doors, offering visitors a unique, visually powerful Expo experience until October 2025. Conceptualized and designed by the agency insglück under the creative direction of Detlef Wintzen, the two-story pavilion spans over 3,500 m² and invites guests to immerse themselves in Kuwait’s rich history, culture, and nature, while exploring its people, their dreams, and visions
The pavilion offers an unforgettable journey through time in four exhibition rooms. Multisensory exhibits, interactive spatial designs, and an impressive finale in a giant exploratory dome projection transform the visit into an innovative, emotionally engaging experience.
The exhibition journey begins with the "Pearl of Perception," a captivating pre-show offering a novel 4D experience as its highlight. This impressive overture is intensified through atmospheric projections and multisensory effects.
The journey continues with "Dawn in the Desert," an equally impressive experience. Here, Kuwait's rich past as a trading center and cultural hub comes to life, allowing visitors to uncover traces of past cultures.
The "People & Culture Room" focuses on the people of Kuwait. Along a giant interactive wall, visitors encounter selected personalities and projects. The interactive area invites playful exploration of the country's multifaceted culture, economy, and science.
The journey culminates in the "Visionary Lighthouse," where visitors can send their wishes and visions as individually AI-generated stars into the night sky above the desert, using "Wishmachines." Lying in the dunes, visitors experience the impressive dome projection of the "Kuwait Vision 2035," complemented by their own wishes.
